Tirivashe Jele is a Historian, a Postgraduate Member of the Royal Historical Society, a member of the Britain Zimbabwe Society, a Leverhulme Fellow and co-founder of The Alkebulan Collective.

She is currently studying towards a PhD in History at the University of Chichester (UK) and is Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Johannesburg Centre for Education Research and Transformation (SA). She is also a community campaigner specialising in GBV and FGM/C, she is also co-founder of The Alkebulan Collective.
